The Hicksville Quartet

The original Euharlee Baptist Church, or Hicksville, was built sometime prior to 1940. Over the years the church was victim to several major floods (as pictured on the album cover) due to it’s close proximity to the Euharlee Creek. As a result, the church building was damaged and unstable. In 1969, several members of the church (listed below) came together to record this album, with all of the proceeds going towards the building of the new church.
